The Codex Alimentarius is a collection of very important rules about everything related to food, adopted (97% of world population).
codes ranging from food production, labeling, regulations on permissible levels of chemicals (pollutants, pesticides, toxins, additives, etc..), transportation and tracking, and hygiene standards, etc..
About 200 codes for food, hygiene 40 and 3200 maximum residue limits for pesticides and veterinary drugs. key pieces of legislation and nobody knows anything.
Officially, the Codex is expected to facilitate international trade of food. Officially.

Il Codex Alimentarius (Codice o Legge Alimentare) ovviamente non è estraneo a tutto ciò, con l’aggravante che qui stanno controllando una delle cose più importante per la salute umana: l’alimentazione!
Il settore alimentare è indubbiamente anche tra i più interessanti dal punto di vista economico: secondo la FAO infatti i fatturati annui si aggirerebbero attorno ai 400 miliardi di dollari. Detto tra noi, il Codex è un sistema intergovernativo, o per meglio dire, il Sistema Sovranazionale che codifica e controlla feeding the planet.
A little 'history

Nel 1903 per esempio la I.D .F. (International Dairy Federation), cioè the International Federation of Dairies, has developed international standards for milk and milk derivatives. Just this Federation has been an important catalyst for the design of the Codex Alimentarius.
After the Second World War , born in 1945 FAO official in order to manage and control the nutrition and international food standards, (the real intention is to control the population through the control of food!)

Austria is actively pursuing the creation of a regional food code, the Codex Alimentarius Europaeus . Finally in May of 1963, the Sixteenth World Health Assembly (World Health Assembly) adopted the statutes of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. Codex Committees
Within this code there are nine committees (the centers of power Codex), known as "horizontal", whose work is applied to samples from around the world:

- Committee of the Fish and fish products, headquartered in Norway;
- Committee of the Milk and dairy products (at FAO / WHO), established in New Zealand;
- Committee of the Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, based in Mexico ;
- Committee of Cocoa and chocolate products, based in Switzerland;
- Committee of Sugar, based in England;
- Committee of the processed fruit and vegetables, with headquarters in USA;
- Committee of vegetable protein, established in Canada;
- Committee of Cereals and Legumes, based in the U.S.;
- Committee of the Meat and Poultry Products, headquartered in Denmark;
- Committee of the Soups and Broths, based in Switzerland;
- Committee on Meat Hygiene, established in New Zealand;
- Committee on Natural Mineral Waters, based in Switzerland.
